Very often the issue you are experiencing can be solved in seconds by checking the FAQ’s located at the bottom of this page. If you cannot locate your problem there your next most efficient option would be to fill in the Support Request form to the left. In either case, give as much detail as possible. Your email or support request will be answered within 24 hours. If you feel you are not comfortable with any of these methods of support you can call the UnifiedDirect Support Center at 1-772-807-3378 UnifiedDirect will give a few possible solutions to common support issues at the beginning of your call. Q. I had to reformat and reload my computer; I have forgotten my Provisioning ID and Password.
A. Please email us and they will provide you with the information you need to begin using your softphone.
Q. My Computer is showing 90% or very high CPU usage.A. This is normally caused by running out of memory. A simple solution to this is to shut down any programs that it is not necessary to have open at that moment. Highlight any applications that you do need running and press end task.
Q. I registered in the past but can’t seem to log in anymore.
A. Your account may have deleted or suspended for some reason. Please email us.
Q. What is VoIP?
A. VoIP or Voice over IP allows you to make calls over your broadband Internet connection using our softphone. VoIP allows for the same quality of call as you currently receive from your current telephone provider but at a fraction of the cost.
Q. Does the softphone contain any spyware or adware?
A. NO – The softphone is completely clean of spyware or adware components.
Q. How do I use any of the features or change any of the settings on the softphone.
A. The softphone comes with a complete help file which can be accessed by bring the softphone into focus and pressing F1. Note: Some options of the softphone will be locked out. These are not options that need to be altered.
